About Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill and Bar
Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill and Bar is a mongolian bbq in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 13200 Strickland Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Raleigh, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food here is amazing, you build your own portions and the chef cooks the meat perfectly. Huge portions for under $20 takeout if you can stack 2 bowls high. More than enough for 2 people. Don't expect restaurant service and you will get amazing food for great prices.

If I could rate no stars I would. When I walked in and saw the red tape on the booth seats, I should have turned around. The food was disgustingly terrible; bland and undercooked. The restaurant is so dirty, it needs a good cleaning. For $25 per person, I could have gone to Umami and got WAY better food! Iβll never go back. NEVERπ€’

This is my go to spot during drill weekends, absolutely awesome food, quick and fast, service is awesome, the owner even took care of this go around for the holidays and that truly means the most to me, they are always very kind and accommodating and the food just doesnβt miss! Highly recommend any time you come to Raleigh!!

The food was okay. My mistake was not realizing beforehand that this was buffet style which is not my favorite. I wanted pho based on the reviews and pictures but was told there wasn't any even though I could see pho was being prepared from where I was sitting at the bar. I should have left after that but decided to stay. I had lo mein with broccoli and chicken that I should've made at home. The hostess was nice. Noone else spoke. I won't be back here, the cleanliness of the restaurant was not to my liking. Dumplings were being made in the open off the bar on the table as well just not as sanitary as I would like.

Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. The restaurant is clean, and I love that they still offer gloves for people to use at the buffet. Food is served by the bowl, and they will let you take your leftovers home. This location also offers eggs on their buffet. Food always tastes fresh and delicious, and they check the bar area often to wipe it down and to replace food items. We will be back again.
